Set out on a pilgrimage following in the footsteps of Christ as we journey to the northern region of Israel, the Galilee. This is where Jesus grew up, assembled his disciples, and conducted his mission.

We begin our journey in Christ's hometown, Nazareth. Here, we will visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, where the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and announced the coming of Christ. We then visit the village of Cana, the site of Jesus's first miracle, turning water into wine.

Our next stop is on the shore of Israel's largest body of fresh water, the Sea of Galilee. At the ancient site of Capernaum, known as the town of Christ, we visit a synagogue where Christ taught and preached. In Capernaum, we will also find the House of Peter the Apostle.

Overlooking the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee is one of the most beautiful holy sites in Israel, the Church of the Beatitudes. According to tradition, this is where Jesus delivered his famous Sermon on the Mount, which lays forth the essential creeds of the Christian faith.

For lunch, we can enjoy fresh fish caught from the Sea of Galilee, with the local specialty being the delicious St. Peter's fish, the same type caught by the apostles themselves.

The pinnacle of our day is a visit to Yardenit, a baptismal site on the River Jordan, where John the Baptist baptized Christ and where God declared, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased."
